ACCESS
If you have any questions or would like to discuss any aspect of access or your attendance at the IETM Oulu Plenary Meeting, please get in touch with us by writing to [email protected].
The registration fee for freelance disabled artists and cultural workers (ie. practitioners not employed by an organisation) is €50, regardless of turnover or where you are based.
We offer a free registration for your support worker or access assistant. Please contact [email protected] to book this space.
The accessibility provision for each session and its venue will be uploaded upon confirmation of the full programme. If you require more information about accessibility for meeting venues, accommodation and more, please check our practical information page.
What to expect
- The Meeting includes a mixture of presentations, panel discussions, workshops, practical sessions and networking, as well as a programme of artistic work. You are not obliged to attend any particular sessions - feel free to make your own choice about what to attend.
- IETM meetings are informal. You are welcome to leave the room and return whenever you would like and to get up, move around and move your body.
Quiet Room
- There will be a Quiet Room available.
- This is a space in which to decompress and to take some time away from the Meeting. This does not mean you have to be completely quiet - if there is no one else in the room, please feel free to vocalise or otherwise express yourself.
Captions
- Captions will be available for most sessions.
- You can access the captions on your smartphone by using the QR code displayed in each room.
Information in alternative formats
- Listen to the Audio Flyer.
- We will also provide an Easy Read Guide, Large Print Programme and Accessible Programme (in Word) closer to the Meeting.
Children
- Babies are welcome at the meeting.
Service animals
- You can bring an assistance dog to all venues.
