Join climate activist and artist Linh Le for a bike ride and contribute towards the durational performance ritual So the city is as citizen, so the city is as species, which takes place from sunset to sunset.

Rebelling against the dominance of the human species, Linh Le and a team of volunteers have been up all night, transporting 10 tons of soil by bike to create a nature zone in the middle of the city. You are invited to join their efforts in the early morning hours. Bikes are available, and you can join the activity for as long as you like. Every action counts!

Address: ARoS Museum  | Event Map | Venue Accessibility

This May and June, HIMHERANDIT PRODUCTIONS have been invited as guest artists to take over ARoS Public and create queer performances, community engagement projects and events. Through this, HIMHERANDIT have been able to set an artistic goal: To 'queer' the museum, disrupt the usual, develop queer performance interventions and put LGBTQIA+ narratives into focus.

As a special event for the IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting, artists Andreas Constantinou and Tone Lorenzen invite 25 IETM members to a guided tour through ARoS Museum. They will develop the tour during their ARoS Public residency in May, with the artistic intention to provide a queered perspective of the art, the rooms and the guests.

This special event is an opportunity to meet Andreas and Tone, take a walk through ARoS Museum - and queer up your day!

AddressGodsbanen, Skovgaardsgade 3, Indgang 3A, Aarhus | Event Map | Venue Accessibility

This artistic walk contains site based exploration to facilitate a new dialogue between humanity and the non-human in a time of threatened or damaged landscapes.

Guide Trevor Davies has invited four performers to collaborate on this artistic talking, walking and sensory reflecting session. We will start in a black box containing a glimpse of KITs site specific trilogy-project on video while delving into the thought process behind this ambitious and radical project. Afterwards, you will be invited to follow the performers into a patchwork, hybrid landscape and sharpen your senses by searching for a dialogue in and with Godsbanen’s landscapes -  where nature, industrial and post industrial collide.

Each artist will base their experience on material from their own performances/workshop practices.
