IETM Advocacy School
The IETM Advocacy School will be launched in 2026 and it will offer advocacy training to IETM members on versatile topics; from how to maneuver political arenas, understand funding structures to how to use campaigns and artistic activism to get your voice heard.
What do we mean by ‘advocacy’?
In this context, advocacy means activities aimed at influencing public policies and political decision-making that affect the broader cultural sector - not only your organisation’s individual relationship with a funder or policy-maker, but the conditions for the performing arts as a whole. This can be at the local, regional, national, or international levels.
In order to thoroughly develop this new online training programme, we ask all IETM members to share their perspective and take a few minutes to complete a short survey and share your experience, expectations, and challenges.
Your responses will help us:
- Understand your current experience and challenges,
- Identify shared priorities across the network,
- Design a programme that is relevant, practical and internationally applicable.
How we will use the results: Responses will be analysed in aggregated form only and used exclusively to design the training content and format.
The Survey closed at April 3 at 17:00 CEST.
Disclaimer: This survey, as well as all online training opportunities, are only dedicated to IETM Members.
