Global Connect is an IETM led programme launched in 2021, created with the support of IETM’s Associate Members. The goal of Global Connect is to make our network more inclusive, diverse and accessible. 

Following the success and strong impact on our network of the first round of IETM Global Connect 2021-22, a new call for applications for 2023 was open untill 12 December 2022 to performing arts professionals worldwide (producers, artists, managers, presenters, etc) who have at least 5 years of professional experience in the field. We are looking for professionals who are committed to increasing global awareness, inclusion, accessibility and connectivity – in the sector at large and in their own communities.

Selected IETM Global Connectors will have the opportunity to broaden their international connections, develop new skills and knowledge, actively share their perspectives with the network and bring new insights and learnings to their communities. 

In order to achieve this, they will receive an IETM membership for 5 years (from the beginning of 2023 till the end of 2027), with free access to all of our meetings. Last but not least, they will receive funding support to take part in the 2023 IETM Plenary Meeting in Aarhus, Denmark and, as part of the plenary, in the yearly IETM Global Connectors Gathering. 

Meet the IETM Global Connectors 2023

Towards the end of 2022, IETM put out an open call for the next generation of IETM Global Connect, following its successful pilot in 2021-2022. Selected through an open call with 225 applications received, we are excited to introduce the fifteen performing arts professionals from across the globe who will join the Global Connect 2023 cohort. 

A global group with rich motivation and extensive experience, they will work as a group with the wider IETM membership to increase global awareness, inclusion, accessibility and connectivity within our network and their local communities. We are very proud to welcome this group into our network.

MEET THE IETM GLOBAL CONNECTORS 2023

The Global Connectors 2023 will meet physically at the IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting and have been granted a 5-year IETM membership (2023- 2027).
