IETM Multi-location in Barcelona (online)
The local Plenary meeting in Barcelona, Spain, will be hosted by our member Nau Ivanow. Please find below the introduction by the local host, as well as the online local programme.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the latest Covid-19 restrictions, the local meeting in Barcelona has shifted online. If you are already registered for this meeting, you can either attend it online or select another location to attend physically, in which case you can contact our Production Officer at francisca.salgueiro@ietm.org to change your registration.
Introduction by the local host
Nau Ivanow is an old factory transformed into a performing arts creation space. Among other services, we specialise in artist-in-residence programs, through which we aim to assist companies in their artistic processes without interfering in the creation itself. We meet their needs by providing them with infrastructure and management support. Our mission is to facilitate the creation, mobility and internationalisation of projects, as well as training of cultural professionals, especially those in emerging performing arts companies or collectives.
It is a pleasure for us to be part of this local IETM Plenary Meeting and we take this opportunity to rethink ways to meet each other and exchange knowledge in this exceptional situation. We couldn’t do this without all the following partners, which we think as essential on this journey: Institut Ramón Llull, Catalan Arts – ICEC – Government of Catalonia, Red de Teatros Alternativos (España), Acción Cultural Española, Red Iberoamericana de Espacios Escénicos, Festival Grec de Barcelona and Iberescena.
