Embark on a purpose-driven post-meeting stay in the captivating city of Varna! The goal of this excursion is to form an advocacy group which is dedicated to exploring the creation of a specialised venue for contemporary dance and performing arts in this culturally rich locale.

Through this post-meeting trip in collaboration with IETM members Varna Dance Theatre, we aim to replicate  the success of the IETM advocacy model, which initiated the construction of Toplocentrala in Sofia a decade ago.. Varna, nestled along the Black Sea coast, holds immense potential for fostering cross-border collaborations within the realms of music, theatre, dance and visual arts.

If you possess experience in or a passion for creating and maintaining venues, we invite you to join us on this journey. Together, let's contribute to the establishment of a new performance space in Varna, all while savouring the soothing ambiance of the sea and sun!

Varna is a sea resort, so we advise you to bring a swimsuit, flip-flops, towel and sunscreen!

The temperature in June is expected to be between 21 and 26°C. The seawater temperature is expected to be around 21°C. 

Don't forget to bring comfortable shoes. You will also need a rucksack to carry a water bottle and a reusable coffee mug if you have one.

Price: €80,00 which includes accommodation in an individual single room or €55,00 which includes accommodation in a shared double room. These prices also include a one-way trip to Varna by sleeper train and one lunch. You will have to arrange your own travel from Varna to wherever your next location is. 
 

This activity is subject to a minimum number of registrations. If there are not enough participants and the post-meeting ends up being cancelled, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.

Deadline for refund: 31 May 2024. It is possible to cancel your registration at any moment. However, if you wish to have your registration fee reimbursed, please inform us by sending us an email at [email protected] before Thursday 31 May.
