Have you ever wondered what the world would look like if it was designed by aunties?
The Auntieverse is a walk where you can see performances based on communal art, work with local people, observe the cityscape and share your thoughts.
The walk through the city takes about an hour, including three stops where you can enjoy a variety of artistic experiences. The walk ends in a village cafe in the Karjasilta area. There local elderly women share the lived, and often neglected, women’s history of Karjasilta around a cup of coffee and some traditional activities.
The Auntieverse is also building up in Manchester with SICK! Festival.
Tea, coffee and snacks will be available at the end of the walk.
Please note, the walk finishes in a different place from where it starts, and you will need to make your own way to your next activity or location.
