Between you, me and the four walls / May I draw your eyes? - Michelle Browne
Performance art from the visual arts has recently experienced a resurgence in Ireland, which has resulted in many Irish artists traveling and performing at live art and performance art venues and festivals throughout the world. To give you a taste of the powerful work being made in Ireland, the IETM Dublin organisers and Dublin City Council have commissioned three new pieces by internationally renowned performance artists.
May I draw your eyes? is a one-on-one performance and a meditation on looking and drawing. It comments upon visual art and literature to give a layered experience of intimacy and intellect, with the broader audience viewing the engagement.
