IETM Spain meeting, April the 7th
Hola a todas y a todos,
Dear all,
Espero que estéis bien y a salvo en vuestras casa.
I hope everybody is well and safe at home.
During the last IETM Members’ Zoom Room, it was proposed to hold meetings of members by country. I think this is a good initiative and I’ll be very pleased to moderate the Spanish meeting.
This is probably the first time that the Spanish IETM members will meet all together. It seems that people usually attend IETM meetings to connect with other countries. However, as the Coronavirus crisis gives us the opportunity to look at our neighbours when we applaud from our balconies and terraces at 20:00, now could be a good moment to also rediscover ourselves on a national level.
I propose the following flexible agenda:
1. Short presentation of the members attending the online meeting
2. Information on how the COVID-19 crisis is affecting us, both professionally and personally. Are you implementing any measures to moderate their effects?
3. Measures taken by Spanish and regional governments to minimise the effects of the crisis in the cultural sector
4. What can we do together?
Feel free to suggest other topics of discussion in a comment to this thread.
The online meeting will happen on the 7th of April from 16:00 to 17:30 through Zoom and will be held in Spanish.

Today we had a meeting of IETM members from Spain. It is curious because, in this organization that fosters international exchange in the performing arts, we have never met in a more or less formal way the people who come from the Spanish State. It has also been worth it, we have been 33, more than in any IETM Meeting. We will continue to meet, I am sure we have a lot to share.
Hi everyone... hola a todxs!
It was a pleasure to meet you all yesterday. Following the "plea to national governments" initiative suggested by IETM, from Emprendo Danza association we've just sent to the Spanish Authority a petition letter, asking them to extend CRII funds (EU Coronavirus Response Investment Initiative) to cultural and performing arts sector. This is the information posted by IETM about the initiative: https://www.ietm.org/en/rescue-the-arts-plea-to-national-governments
What if we all do the same, sending the same petition from all of our profiles (both individual and from organisations)?
As far as I understand, Spanish Managing Authority here would be the "Dirección General de Fondos Europeos" from the "Ministerio de Hacienda", here the online profiles and e-mail we've found:
Dirección General de Fondos Europeos: fondoscomunitarios@sepg.hacienda.gob.es
https://www.dgfc.sepg.hacienda.gob.es/sitios/dgfc/es-ES/Paginas/Direcci…

We've already translated the template letter (a template proposed by IETM) into Spanish... I share here the link to this text, so you can copy-paste the letter, in case you want to make use of it: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ytYIpQuGvSOB5MtJRQNCTsXoRmaVCNi1
Seguimos en contacto!
Best,
Sabela
