ORGANISERS

IETM – International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts is one of the oldest and largest international cultural networks, representing the voice of over 530 professionals and organisations working in all the fields of the performing arts in more than 60 countries worldwide. IETM advocates the value of the arts and culture and empowers performing arts professionals through access to international connections, knowledge and a dynamic forum for exchange. They work to stimulate the quality, development and context of the contemporary performing arts, in all their diversity.

Bitef Festival - Transcending all political and cultural borders, for half of a century, Bitef has managed to keep pace with a tumultuous evolution of performing arts. They bring to Belgrade some of the biggest names in the world.  This year's Bitef festival, the 56th in a row, will be held from September 23 to October 2. The thematic focus of the festival, held under the slogan “We - The Heroes of Our Own Labour”, will address the issue of labour in contemporary society: loss of employment, precarious work, the labour market in the wake of the pandemic, professional requalification, etc. Bitef has pre-served its place in the family of major international festivals. It was founded by the Belgrade City Council, whereas Bitef Theatre is in charge of the production and organisation.
