Slow travel to IETM Belgrade
I'm planning to make the journey from Dublin to IETM Belgrade over sea and land. As someone living on an island at the edge of Europe, I am interested in slow travel as a way to cut down on air travel while still staying connected internationally, as well as a way to change the pace of working for artists and arts workers.
It looks like my journey will be Dublin-Holyhead-London-Paris-Brussels-Vienna-Budapest-Novi Sad-Belgrade on ferry, trains and bus (and taking a couple of days in Paris to see some work while I'm there).
I'd love to hear from anyone else who is doing slow travel to the meeting - maybe we can meet for a coffee or a beer when we get to Belgrade and share our thoughts and experiences?

Hi Lian,
I'm taking a similar journey (from Birmingham) - with some detours along the way for a couple meetings. Would love to meet up to discuss along the way, or once we've arrived in Belgrade!

Hi Skylar
Oh! My plans have been shot down after contracting Covid. I'm still planning to get to Belgrade, but it will be by flight. I guess that's the first thing to think about when slow travelling... expect the unexpected! But would be happy to meet up anyway and hear how you got on - I'm v curious to hear how it went. Best of luck with it.
