IETM virtual meeting for venues
We would like to invite all venue organisations which are members of IETM to a virtual meeting that will take place on the 29th of May, between 12:00 - 1:30 pm CET, via Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85362985147).
The objectives of the dialogue are: 1) to hear from venues about their specific challenges in the current situation; 2) to allow for an exchange among venues across Europe and beyond in relation to the most pressing issues and possible solutions.
Our ultimate goal is to translate your insights and suggestions into concrete policy messages for our future advocacy.
During the meeting, we would like to hear your answers to the following three questions:
- What are your challenges today: regarding audience engagement, relations with artists, lost income, and reopening strategies? You are welcome to highlight other issues.
- What are your solutions to deal with those challenges?
- What should be done at the EU, national, regional and local policy levels to improve the situation?
If you wish to take part in the virtual meeting, please respond below to this forum post.
We hope to e-meet you on the 29th of May!
All the best,
Elena

Very Good and necessary Meeting Today.I think some simple 10 point conclusions.such as JESPER suggested could be very useful,in helping the SMALL ( and more essential cultural locations) make DEALS with their local Municipalities. Thank you for preparing this Meeting. Even though some stories were dissapointing, the general conclusion was one of intense European Solidarity .Which, in the Long run , will help everyone. HappyWeekend to you all !
