Vacancy - Artistic Director for Carte Blanche, Norway

Carte Blanche is the Norwegian National Company of Contemporary Dance and is located in Bergen with its production premises and a temporary home studio at Studio Bergen. The company gives 70 to 80 performances a year in Norway and abroad.
The company has 30 employees and a turnover of approx. NOK 40 million in 2016.
The ensemble consists of 14 dancers from all over the world. Carte Blanche is a repertory company, and has in recent years worked with choreographers such as Marcello Evelin, Mia Habib, Hooman Sharifi, Ingeleiv Berstad & Kristin Ryg Helgebostad og Bouchra Ouizguen.

Carte Blanche AS is owned and funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture, Hordaland County Council and the City of Bergen.

Carte Blanche has a vacancy for:

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

for a fixed-term period from 1 August 2018 to 31 July 2022.
The Artistic Director is the artistic head of the company as well being responsible for the company’s day-to-day management pursuant to Norwegian companies’ legislation.
