plan B is looking for a remarkable person. Alongside the Artistic Director you will ensure this vibrant company operates efficiently, within budget, and meets its obligations to funders, audiences, and our company members. It’s a crucial – and we believe hugely exciting role.



We are looking for a dynamic, experienced self-starter who shares our commitment to developing creativity in individuals and communities through the power of dance. 



The General Manager is an important representative and ambassador for the company, helping it realise its ambitious development plans at local, national and international levels, and assisting the Artistic Director to implement the company’s vision and objectives.



The General Manager’s principal responsibilities are:

• Identifying new opportunities for touring, and company development

• Project management

• Promotion of the company and marketing of events

• Financial management of the company

• Administration



The post is based at plan B’s base in the Scottish Highlands. The need to work on a flexible basis is essential and this may include working outwith normal office hours such as weekend and evening work.



Salary £27,500 pa
