OPEN CALL - OHRID RESIDENCY APRIL 2024
PROSPER is an international project co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the EU which is exploring the theme of environmentally challenged regions of the Balkans.
As part of the project, a one-month residency will be organized at Lake Ohrid (North Macedonia). The residency is open to international artists, designers, thinkers, and researchers who are interested in:
- Peripheries as spaces of possibility & resistance
- Climate & environmental challenges
- Interdisciplinary exploration with local communities
It will take place in the period of 1-30 April 2024 in a house on the Lake Ohrid and will host 8 international participants who will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in creative work that is informed by local communities. The residency will end in a one-day festival where the participants showcase the work they developed during their stay.
Deadline for applications is 6 November.
The residency is organized by 5 partnering organizations – LOOP (Greece), Eho animato (Serbia), Oyoun (Germany), Peripetija, and Local development agency Struga (North Macedonia).
