Kaimera Lab 2022: Training on immersive and participatory creation
The Kaimera Lab is a 10-day intensive training facilitated by members of the core team of Kaimera Productions. This year's Lab will take place at the gorgeous historic Gorzanów Palace in Klodzko Valley in Poland, between July 22 - 31, 2022.
The training encapsulates the principles of Kaimera’s practice of creating, producing and presenting new forms of live performance, particularly focusing on work that is immersive, participatory, site-specific and interdisciplinary.
The Lab blends skill-building and knowledge-sharing sessions with ample opportunities for experimentation and evaluation, offering participants tools and skills to create, present and perform original work of their own.
Designed for performing artists, narrative & experience designers and interdisciplinary artists, it is open to anyone with or without experience in immersive and participatory approaches and site-specific work.
Applications are accepted through the online form on our website until April 15 and selected participants will be notified by April 30. Kaimera strives to be as inclusive as possible and scholarships to participate in the Kaimera Lab are offered on a case-by-case basis for those not receiving external financial assistance.
