Call for Stories – Research on Community-Building in the Performing Arts
For our upcoming study, and in preparation of the IETM Community-Building School of 2027, we are looking for inspiring stories of community-building in the performing arts. We want to hear about initiatives that go beyond audience development—projects that create lasting, reciprocal relationships with people, communities, or collaborators, locally or internationally.
We are interested in stories about how you connect communities, welcome neighbours, collaborate with peers, local organisations and experts from other sectors, bring diverse people together and make performing arts meaningful both inside and outside your walls.
Share your story! We want to explore both success points and challenges you are encountering in your work.
Selected examples will feed into a report highlighting 5–7 diverse practices in community-building across the world
