The Trial Against Humanity is an interactive installation performance developed through the Creative Europe project ACuTe. Within an advanced and richly detailed audiovisual universe, the audience and the actors must respond to Omnitron’s accusations against mankind. This leads them on a journey revealing humanity’s search for what is human and highlights our urge to leave meaningful traces before it´s all over.
The Trial Against Humanity has been presented at the Ars Electronica Festival (Linz) and the Next Level Festival at the Academy for Theatre and Digitality (Dortmund).
The performance is now available especially for IETM participants in the immersive experience space VISIO, which will open to the public in October. This is an exceptional, not-to-be-missed preview - your exclusive chance to step inside VISIO before its doors open to the wider public.
The work will also be explored in more depth through a case study as part of the IETM Oulu Plenary Meeting 2026 programme, within the session New Forms of Collaboration: Creative Practice, AI & Organisational Change.
