Gathering is an evening of networking and performance knowledge sharing between local performing artists and IETM participants. Hosted in itu artlab – Oulu’s brand new mini arthouse – Gathering brings local and international dance artists and musicians together for an evening that begins with a work-in-progress demo of A Song of Gravity – a new performance that combines classical music, pole dancing and interactive technology – and continues with a two-hour durational improvisation between dancers and musicians, where we encourage visitors to join in. There is also space for relaxation and discussion. Gathering flows between performance and social events, offering opportunities for local and international performing arts professionals to connect through shared experience. 

Duration: 3 hours (participants can drop in and out of the event)

Accessibility: The building is not fully accessible. There is a small step to the building. The toilets are downstairs, no lift available.
