The Mentor Room gives real insight into individual working practices and challenges of IETM members in an intimate and supportive environment. Delegates are invited in advance of the meeting to submit topics and questions that they need mentored and a small number will be selected as mentees. Two mentors are then allocated per mentee, according to the questions asked, and these three will spend the full session in discussion together.

Silent observers are invited to listen to one of these in-depth conversations, and there will be an opportunity for general discussion and feedback at the end of the session. In contrast to all other IETM sessions, the doors of the Mentor Room close when we start and all participants, including silent observers, are encouraged to stay for the full two hours in order to enhance the supportive atmosphere.
