European Cultural Policy Towards 2020
The EU has proposed its new culture programme, ‘Creative Europe’ for the seven year period beginning 2014. It is clearly based on the overall EU policy, Europe 2020, whose aim is to support a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy, delivering high levels of employment, productivity and social cohesion. How does it fit with artistic creativity? Will our usual co-production, collaborative creation and touring models be supported? Will we all have to go digital? Use this opportunity to get insights into the programme and feedback reactions before its adoption at the end of 2012.
Speakers:
Pascal Brunet (Relais Culture Europe - Paris, FR)
Lars Seeberg (Artistic Advisor - Odense, DK)
Emina Visnic (POGON – Zagreb Center for Independent Culture and Youth - Zagreb, HR)
