Introduction to German Associations
Venue: Foyer next to the Wolfgang-Neuss-Salon
Address: Viktoriastraße 10-18, 12105 Berlin, Germany | Venue Information | Event Map
The landscape of the performing arts in Germany is quite special. The federal association of the independent performing arts (BFDK) and the Performing Arts Programme (PAP) of the Berlin association (LAFT), both partners of the Plenary Meeting, will present their work and the good-to-knows about the German scene.
With a focus on their international work and on good-practice projects - such as Verbindungen fördern (BFDK) or FAIRSTAGE (LAFT) - both associations offer a short introduction to interested IETM members and other participants of the Plenary Meeting.
During the second half of the session you can get to know United Networks and Diversity Arts Culture. United Networks (UN) is a non-profit organization that promotes, empowers and connects marginalised and racialised BIPoC artists and cultural workers around Germany. Diversity Arts Culture is a design and consultation office for diversity development in the cultural sector based in Berlin, which is aiming to make arts and culture accessible to all and to break down barriers.
