2020 General Assembly: Votes are now open
Dear members,
I hope you and your colleagues are well.
We recently announced that, following the cancellation of our 2020 physical Plenary Meetings in Tromsø and Belgrade due to the pandemic, our only option left to proceed with our 2020 General Assembly is to organise it by a written procedure, in accordance with the Belgian law.
The votes for the written IETM 2020 General Assembly are now open. Please read carefully this one-page letter (English version on page 2) from Cathie Boyd, President of IETM, explaining how to take part in the IETM 2020 General Assembly, before you fill out and sign the French voting template form (see Annex AG.207 below).
Documents
Please find below all the documents mentioned in the President's letter:
- Minutes of the 2019 GA - AG.201
- Annual report 2019 - AG.202
- Activity Plan 2020 - AG.203
- Financial Account for 2019 - AG.204 (Note: Summary in English, actual account in French, translation in English)
- Financial plan for 2020 - AG.205
- Proposition by Board of directors of Board members and advisors of IETM - AG.206
- The Voting template form - AG.207
Important practicalities
- The voting form shall be filled, signed and sent back to us by email at GA2020@ietm.org before 23:59 CEST on 1 September 2020 with the subject line: VOTE FOR GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2020.
- According to the Belgian law, the voting form shall be filled out and signed in French. To help you fill out the French voting form, you will find an English translation of the text in the second part of the document, on page 4-5. Please make sure to only fill out the French voting form as filling out the English form will make your vote void.
- Please note that only members that will have paid their 2020 membership by 1 September 2020 are allowed to vote. If you still have not renewed your membership and wish to take part in the voting process, please fill out the 2020 membership renewal form.
We remain at your disposal together with the Board of Directors at GA2020@ietm.org for any question you may have.
Thank you for your understanding of this extraordinary written procedure considering the circumstances linked to the coronavirus pandemic.
Warm regards,
Ása Richardsdóttir
Secretary General
