Train with Kaimera this Summer in Normandy, France
Kaimera is a live arts company based in Saint-Denis (FR) and Oakland (USA). The Kaimera Lab is our annual training, which encapsulates the principles of Kaimera’s practice of creating, producing and presenting new forms of live performance, particularly focusing on work that is immersive, participatory, site specific and interdisciplinary.
The training blends skill-building and knowledge-sharing sessions with ample opportunities for experimentation and evaluation, offering participants tools and skills to create, present and perform original work of their own. The training is designed for artists of all disciplines, particularly performing artists, narrative & experience designers, and interdisciplinary artists, and is open to anyone with or without prior experience in immersive, participatory and site-specific work.
The 2026 Kaimera Lab will be held 24 July - 2 August at the beautiful Domaine de la Boderie in Normandy, France. Deadline to apply is March 25th.
Kaimera strives to be as inclusive as possible and scholarships to participate in the Kaimera Lab are offered on a case-by-case basis for those not receiving external financial assistance.
Applications are accepted until 25 March 2026.
