MAYK are hiring an Assistant Producer Intern
MAYK is one of the UK leading live performance producing organisations. Based in Bristol but working internationally, they create dynamic meeting points for participation in world-class live performance both in and out of traditional art spaces. Led by Kate Yedigaroff and Matthew Austin, MAYK was established in 2011 and continues to make a space for a holistic, long-term approach to creating memorable experiences that are accessible to lots of people.
In partnership with Creative Access, MAYK are looking for an Assistant Producer Intern to join their team in March! As a part-time assistant producer intern, you will be contributing to Mayfest 2024; Bristol’s biennial festival of contemporary theatre, curated and produced by MAYK. You’ll also get an insight into MAYK's other projects and work with a wide range of creative professionals.
Things you’ll be doing may include working with the Senior Producer on plans for Front of House, event management, ensuring everyone working on a project has the right information to do their jobs well, doing research, helping with marketing and communications, and joining in with and taking notes at meetings.

Bursary: National Living Wage equivalent (£12 an hour)
Duration: 6 months
Working hours: 24 hours - part-time for 3 days per week
Start date: March 2024
