Australia Council offers travel bursaries for IETM Valencia
Expressions of Interest are now open to performing arts professionals for support to attend the IETM Autumn Plenary in Valencia, Spain from 3-6 November 2016.
IETM, the International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts, is the EU’s primary performing arts network. In 2009, the Australia Council developed a partnership with IETM to develop long term collaborations and co-productions between Australian and European artists. This project has now evolved into a broader engagement with European networks and partners, supported by the Council’s International Development Manager – Europe. The Australia Council will continue to support an Australian delegation at IETM’s plenary meetings, including the 2016 IETM Autumn Plenary meeting in Valencia, Spain.
The Australia Council will lead an Australian delegation at the IETM Autumn Plenary. Council’s International Development Manager – Europe will work with the delegation in Valencia.
The Council support will provide six delegates with $3,000 each towards the cost of attending IETM. The Council supported delegates will be responsible for all costs associated with attending the meeting including flights, insurance, accommodation and registration.
