IETM's Inclusion, Diversity, Equality and Accessibility strategy (IDEA)
IETM's IDEA strategy will be presented during the General Assembly in Porto - come prepared! Here's the document in pdf (not for publication at this stage) - have a look and prepare your questions, suggestions, comments...
We're also carrying out a survey to find out about approaches to inclusion, diversity, equality and accessibility in the arts sector: you can have your say and share the survey widely through your own contacts.
And of course, your comments are welcome here on the Forum!
I would like to discuss some ways to make ietm more inclusive, diverse, accessible, and equal. For example, can we do more outreach to underrepresented communities? Can we put some incentives in place to encourage and make it possible for underrepresented people to join ietm? The link before is for our current project, which aims to start the conversation about tearing down the walls between us. Our company link is www.nyartists.org.
Sorry, the above comment should have posted under my name, Melba LaRose, instead of Elson de Faria, my husband and our managing director. However, Elson is Brasilian and could speak to you in Portuguese if necessary.
