On the 27th of September a war was started by Azerbaijan, under the military and political leadership of Turkey, against the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and the internationally recognized Republic of Armenia. There are already hundreds of victims, both civilians and soldiers, due to the bombardments and continuous attacks not only on the contact line but on the villages and cities of Artsakh and Armenia.



Humanity considers art and culture as the most constructive powers for human connection and the development of civilization. Art breaks through physical and mental boundaries and unites us all by proving that we are the same in our creativity and humanity. In Armenia and Artsakh, the artists who pave the way towards the collective healing of our communities are now required to become soldiers to protect their families and neighbors. Countless families are now in a hopeless situation, losing their fathers and sons to war while homes are being destroyed daily by shelling and drone strikes from Turkey and Azerbaijan.



We urgently need your support, as a member of our international artistic community, to raise awareness of these issues. Help us to keep hope alive for a better future, for our present and future generations, full of art, creativity and peace.



Spreading awareness is crucial now as the conflict is already disappearing from headlines even as it escalates at a terrifying pace.
