Bio
Glasgow-based producer and writer Michael John O'Neill has worked with companies including Tron Theatre, Theatre Gu Leòr, National Theatre of Scotland, Tramway, The Arches and Traverse Theatre. He founded the Tron Theatre’s artistic development department Tron CREATIVE, and as its Artistic Producer commissioned and produced work including Little King’s GREATER BELFAST (2016), SUPERFAN’s LIKE ANIMALS (2018) and Blood of the Young’s DAPHNE ORAM’S WONDERFUL WORLD OF SOUND (2017) and PRIDE & PREJUDICE* (*SORT OF) (2018). In November 2019 Michael became the inaugural recipient of the Bruntwood Prize Original New Voice Award for his first full-length play AKEDAH.
