REDE is a supra-associative association composed by 20 Portuguese dance structures, these being: Ballet Contemporâneo do Norte, Balleteatro, Bomba Suicida, Casa Branca, Circular, Companhia Clara Andermatt, Companhia Instável, Devir / Capa, Dupla Cena, EIRA, Forum Dança, Fábrica de Movimentos, Materiais Diversos, Máquina Agradável, Núcleo de Experimentação Coreográfica, Ninho de Víboras, O Rumo do Fumo, RE.AL, Teatro do Bolhão, Vo'Arte. The members of the direction of REDE are rotary. Until February 2016, the direction is composed by Balleteatro, Bomba Suicida, Companhia Clara Andermatt and Companhia Instável. REDE represents the interests of the Portuguese contemporary dance sector and it has been the living expression of the mobilization and contestation from the contemporary dance community in Portugal, and the interlocutor per excellence with the Portuguese Government. Supporting the reflection, production and organization of contemporary dance in Portugal, we support the dance professionals as well as their projects and working conditions. Being composed by a group of cultural associations and dance companies, we serve as bridge between art institutions, dance professionals, the government as well as lawyers and accountants. Through our website and facebook, REDE distributes information about cultural opportunities, meetings, current shows, mobility and learning, such in national as in international terms. REDE is a mobility supporter and a cultural policies developer. Due to the national and international fluxes of activities developed by our members, artists and structures involved in creation, touring and learning, REDE finds it pertinent to become member of OTM, by reason of propelling the Portuguese cultural context and disseminating the work of contemporary artists and cultural managers.
