Les sujets mis en avant nous semblent actuellement essentiels pour le secteur des arts du spectacle : la relation avec le public, les politiques culturelles de l'UE, la diversité et l’intégration, la durabilité du secteur, la valeur des arts dans la société, et les divers paradigmes, défis et aspirations qui sont vécus aux quatre coins du monde.

This report is a foresight scenario-based study which assesses the way the European CCS are already affected and could be affected in the future by economic, social, political or technologic changes. The first part of the study analyses the state-of-play, while the second part advances a prospective analysis grounded on scenarios with different degrees of probability on the future of CCS and tested through consultation with a wide range of stakeholders.
Our Satellite meeting in Milan focused on language as a political and social concept and a backbone of accessibility in the arts, with a particular emphasis on the position of sign languages across the globe. This report provides an introduction to sign language culture, brings insights into the role of translation in revealing the reality of our exchanges and proposes key elements that define a language.
This Report illustrates the achievements of Creative Europe in 2018, in line with its mission to safeguard cultural diversity and strengthen the competitiveness of the cultural and creative sectors, in particular the audiovisual sector. In presenting the wide range of activities undertaken and the results achieved, the report shows the value of Creative Europe as a whole, which is greater than the sum of its individual parts.

The EU’s Creative Europe programme made grants worth nearly €3.1 million to 11 UK-led applications this year, even though these projects would be thrown into disarray in the event of a no-deal Brexit.

Theatre is an art form that seeks to reflect and change society. As a Seattle-based dramaturg who identifies as a disabled artist, I recognize a glaring need for more disabled theatremakers in the industry—to enrich the theatrical landscape with diverse perspectives, challenge the norms, and encourage new ways of thinking.
The cultural democracy notion stemmed from the belief that many cultural traditions coexist and none should dominate over the others as the “official” or “high” culture. Another premise of cultural democracy is that everyone should be free to participate in cultural life.
In this paper co-signed by Circostrada, EDN, ETC and In-situ, we call on the European Institutions and the Member States to acknowledge the inherent power of the performing arts.
