Staff Exchange Programme
Our Staff Exchange Programme offers our members a unique opportunity to gain a short but valuable international experience by joining the team of another member organisation and hosting a professional from abroad. The duration of an exchange programme may vary from 1 week to 3 months or more.
The programme is aimed at helping you to get an insight into different working practices and professional cultures, to learn new approaches to deal with your tasks and exchange know-how with your international peers.
Who can apply?
The only condition to take part in the Staff Exchange Programme is to be a member of IETM. Participation is open to any employee of an IETM member organisation - manager, technician, artist, project coordinator, trainee, volunteer, etc. However, individual members (freelancers) can only take part in the exchange if they can provide a valuable experience within an established organisation for a visiting staff exchange participant.
When is the next call?
We open calls for our Staff Exchange Programme on a yearly basis, normally in the first quarter of the year. Keep an eye on our social media and newsletters for the next announcement.
