Welcoming international artists and IETM members to Yorkshire, Leeds
In celebration of the connection between Leeds and Hull and to welcome international artists and IETM members to Yorkshire, Leeds Dance Partnership is collaborating with Walking Talking Project to deliver Walking with Leeds.
Leeds is playing host through creating an artistic tour of the city. Walking with Leeds will begin over lunch at Yorkshire Dance at 12.00 noon on 27th March. This is an opportunity for international and local artists and organisations and anyone with an interest in the arts to meet in our city and experience the distinct, lively and ever-evolving arts ecology that we are so proud of in Leeds.
Participants will enjoy conversation and performance as they travel around our city, both walking through the centre and transported in a heritage bus, visiting venues where work is created, and meeting artists before gathering for a Yorkshire welcome with entertainment and some homemade grub at Slung Low’s base in Holbeck.
The day will finish at 7 pm.
The city-wide tour route includes both outdoor and indoor spaces. Please contact us if you are a wheelchair user or if you have any other access or dietary needs you would like us to be aware of: access@walkingtalkingproject.uk.
Places are free but limited. Booking is essential so reserve your place here before March 26th.
