Producers, we need your feedback ! International cooperation awaits !
In this state of permanent crisis the art sector is reacting in many ways and is asked to be more efficient: artists have to be innovative, festivals have to mix incomes and find private funding, public policies are reducing their budget for culture, etc. But what are the producers doing to participate in this common effort?
Starting from this point and discussing the topic with other producing organizations at various international networking times and meetings, we feel that there are a lot of formal and informal cooperation between independent producing organizations in Europe and overseas. Our working session aims at recognizing our peers (producers, production houses and offices, etc.) and exploring how we work and most of all: sharing experiences and feedbacks. Are you an independent structure, working with artistic teams independently within your local context and also internationally? We would be so glad if you could join us for the working session in Munich to share and learn.
In preparation for the workshop we would like to ask you fill out this questionnaire so that we can devise a kick-ass and in-depth working session. If you find the topic interesting but cannot be there for the IETM meeting or have scheduled some other activity at this time, it would be great if you could fill out the questionnaire anyway. We hope that this session will be the starting point of a long term mapping and discussion of our practices. We are planning to give it an echo at the Hull meeting in March 2019.
