We invite over 200 delegates to attend each Edinburgh Showcase from our international network of performing arts professionals. This includes key programmers, producers and agents as well as overseas British Council colleagues.

Artists who took part in Edinburgh Showcase 2017 have seen incredible results. “I think that the British Council Showcase is invaluable – because what it does is establish a context that enables you to connect to international programmers with integrity and clarity,” says artist Selina Thompson.

She adds: “salt. has toured to Australia and Brazil this year and will be in Canada and the US next year. I believe that this has been transformative not only in terms of organisational development, ambition and scale but also artistically, the experiences we are having are a rich starting place from which to generate new work.”
