Candoco International Lab in Armenia Yerevan, 3-7 October 2017
Candoco Dance Company and British Council Armenia are delighted to be working in partnership to deliver Candoco’s International Lab in Armenia. The Lab is a unique opportunity for dancers to come together, take risks, test new ideas and share practice.
This Lab will be led by Candoco dancers Joel Brown and Laura Patay and Candoco’s Rehearsal Director Susanna Recchia. The week offers an exciting opportunity for local and international, disabled and non-disabled artists to build creative, choreographic and performance skills together as well as developing inclusive teaching practice.
The Lab will take place in Yerevan, capital of Armenia. Lab will take place within HighFest International Performing Arts Festival. IETM Caravan is also planned during the same period. Venue of the Lab is AGBU Armenia Lecture Hall (2/2 Melik-Adamyan Str., Yerevan, Armenia).
The Lab will take place from 3 October to 7 October.
£300 excluding travel, accommodation and subsistence.
If you have particular support requirements (e.g. sign language interpretation), please state this on your application. If you need to travel with a personal assistant then you will need to cover his/her costs. How to apply
Applications are now open for 10 dancers to join the Lab.
10 dancers will join Candoco Dancers for the Lab. We are looking for artists with an interest and openness to working intensively with a diverse group of artists from the UK and other countries.
Once participants have been selected, a detailed schedule and information pack will be distributed.
