The city of Tromsø is located in northern Norway, 350km (217 miles) north of the Arctic Circle. Despite its small size, with a population of only 76.000 inhabitants, the city is a major cultural hub that offers a range of artistic events, a lively nightlife and is the top tourist destination for northern lights hunts during winter, and long summer days under the midnight sun.
