Zero waste event
.
In the Adriatic area, multiple events attract thousands of people and boost the local economy. Not without environmental damage though. The solution should be a sustainable tourism policy achieved through “green” actions lowering the negative environmental impact of large gatherings and transforming the waste originated by tourist flows into a new resource for local communities, both from a social and economic point of view.
Zero Waste Adriatic is one of the initiatives fostering sustainable green events in the region. Join this session to get inspired by the initiative and their recommendations for greening up your own events.
Please check the accessibility of the venue here.

The fourth issue of our Fresh Perspectives series on arts and environment is a great complementary reading to the one suggested by Marinela above.
Thanks, this is very interesting. I will share it to my students too :)
Hello everyone,
bring your own cup or bottle for water. Thank you for reducing plastic disposables.
See you on Thursday!
