Glashalle
There are two barrier-free lifts, an escalator to the first floor, signage in braille.
Registration desks at a height accessible by wheelchair/scooter users and adequate knee clearance under the desk will be provided.

Carl Orff Saal
Access: at ground level into the Glashalle (Glass Hall); from there via lift or escalator.
Wheelchair spaces: 10 (in Blocks T and U). There are two barrier-free lifts, an escalator to the first floor, signage in braille. There is an accessible toilet in the foyer of the Carl-Orff-Saal, on the first floor. Possible barriers: there are steep steps in Block S.
The audio induction loop system will be activated on request at events with amplified sound (speech and film).

Carl Orff Foyer
Free seating. There are two barrier-free lifts, an escalator to the first floor, signage in braille. There is an accessible toilet in the foyer of the Carl-Orff-Saal, on the first floor.

Carl Amery Saal
Access: at ground level into the Glashalle (Glass Hall); from there via lift or escalator. Wheelchair spaces: 4. There are two barrier-free lifts, an escalator to the first floor, signage in braille. There is an accessible toilet. Possible barriers: rows 1 to 8 can only be reached via steps. Wheelchair participants will be guided to access the stage through the backstage. The audio induction loop system will be activated on request at events with amplified sound (speech and film).

Raum 1.108
Located on the first floor. There are two barrier-free lifts and an escalator to the first floor, signage in braille. Free seating. There is an accessible toilet in the foyer of the Carl-Orff-Saal, on the same floor.

Raum 0.131
Located on the ground floor. Free seating. There is an accessible toilet next door. The room is equipped with hearing loops.

Philharmonie Foyer
Located on the first floor. Access through the Glashalle. There are two barrier-free lifts and an escalator to the first floor, signage in braille. Free seating. There is an accessible toilet in the foyer of the Carl-Orff-Saal, on the same floor.

Hochschule Room 4.105 & 4.113
Located on the fourth floor. There are two barrier-free lifts. Free seating.

Blackbox
Located on the ground floor. There are two barrier-free lifts and an escalator to the first floor, signage in braille. The room has 4 seats for wheelchair users. There is an accessible toilet in the foyer of the Carl-Orff-Saal, on the same floor. The audio induction loop system will be activated on request at events with amplified sound (speech and film).

Bayerische Akademie der Schönen Künste

The performance will take place on the 5th floor of the venue. There is a lift from the ground floor to the 4th floor. Access to the 5th floor is only possible with the help of certified assistants, who will be present on the spot. Wheelchair accessible toilets are available on the 4th floor. The performance will not include any flashlights or strobes.

Werksviertel

During the artistic walk, participants will walk to the Werksviertel quarter departing from the Gasteig. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes by foot (1.6 km). Participants with reduced mobility may opt to reach the Werksviertel quarter by public transport (S-Bahn lines 1 to 8 – stop: Ostbahnhof), however this will result in missing a part of the tour. The quarter is wheelchair accessible and the buildings are equipped with wheelchair accessible toilets on the ground level.

Studiobühne / Festivalzentrum

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and is equipped with wheelchair accessible toilets. The space has a dance floor and several lounge spaces where participants can avoid loud music and the dance floor lighting.

Pasinger Fabrik / Wagenhalle

The entrance and the pathway from public transport can be accessed with a ramp. Lift can be used to reach the 1st floor, or the studios 1 and 2 in the basement. Lift in the atrium. The Wagenhalle: during the opera performances mostly the tables in the first row are suitable for wheelchair users. Attention: wheelchair seats can not be booked online. HochX

Due to construction work on the dormitory of the Kolping Education Center, HochX can be accessed barrier-free via the installed ramps from Entenbachstraße. Access from Falkenstraße is blocked. HochX has a wheelchair accessible toilet.

Schauburg

Barrier free access to public transport. General entrance & access to performance room is barrier free. Elevator control buttons designated by Braille (German) and raised characters or symbols and are reachable by wheelchair/scooter users +voice communication.

No captions/ audio description for projections.
No specific emergency procedures for persons with disabilities, audio and visual alarms in halls and rooms.

Special wheelchair accessible buses will not be provided. Wheelchair uses will be invited to join the regular buses, if possible, and take regular seats; their wheelchairs will be transported in the luggage compartments.

Theater Pfütze
The theatre space is modular: in the one-but-last row, there is a space for two wheelchair users; more can be arranged in the first and the last row. There is a lift from the basement garage and from the side entrance, allowing access to the foyer and the theatre. There is an accessible toilet.

Theater Salz + Pfeffer
The foyer and the theatre are wheelchair accessible. There are no barrier-free toilets in the building, but they are available in the Parc Radisson Hotel opposite the venue (Sandstraße 2-8, its entrance is 100 m away from the theatre’s door).

Lift directly from the car park, between the main entrance and the stage entrance, giving access to the theater café and the theater hall. Barrier free toilets.

Reichsparteitagsgelände
A wheelchair entrance at ground level, under the stairs to the main entrance. All levels are accessible from there. If the entrance is locked, please ring.
Wheelchair accessible restroom at Level 1. The permanent exhibit on Level 3 is wheelchair accessible. There is a short staircase that is equipped with a wheelchair elevator operated by trained staff.
An audio guide available in German and six other languages. A plan of the exhibition in braille (German) can be borrowed at the ticket desk.

Theatre Mummpitz
The foyer is completely barrier free, flat flooring, wide doors. To visit the theatre room, it is necessary to go around the theatre. There are specific wheelchair accessible toilets in the venue near the Foyer. There are no rough paths, no tactile ground surface indicators, and all stairs have handrails.

Memorium Nuremberg Trials
Ramps available both at the entrance and in the exhibition rooms. Lift to reach the fourth-floor exhibition from the first-floor ticket office. Lift to Courtroom 600 on the second floor. As stated on the Memorium’s website, “when planning to visit Courtroom 600, you should be aware of the width of the door.” Wheelchair compatible restrooms are located on the fourth floor in the back exhibition area.
