Participatory art practices group

Can participatory practices model new forms of citizenship? Who owns the art created in participatory arts? Can we create more space for communities to self-organise their own projects? Is the artist the instigator? The author? Or the witness? Or perhaps something or someone else? And do we need to know it before we start? This sub-group is designed for professionals active in the field who are willing to gather together and discuss their practices.

Please check the accessibility of the venue here.

Thank you for an interesting and enjoyable IETM!

At this session I talked about the need of working on a language about participatory practices, which we can use both within the field and with the public. And it was brought up, that there is a summary online from a session at the Wales sattelite meeting. But i cant find it, can someone help?

And Judith Knight referred to an guide about Cultural Democracy and a schedule with good destinctions. It is here: https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/sites/default/files/download-file/Cultura...
