Its 1981 soc-modern architecture style represents a monument of Slovene cultural heritage and one of the distinguished “new spaces for the arts” at the east side of Europe, with the capacity of:
- two performing halls (360 seats with 16mx14m stage) and (50 seats with 7mx7m stage),
- two dance studios (120m² and 110m²),
- library and mediatheque suitable for lectures,
- a café and a gallery spreading over two floors (360m²),
- garden and ancillary rooms, which include offices, changing rooms and a meeting room.

Following the application conditions by The City Council of Ljubljana, 22 partner organizations with interdisciplinary program of dance, music, theatre, literature, humanism, visual arts and education were invited to participate with their programs.

The facilities of the SPANISH FIGHTERS with the domicile for EnKnapGroup, offering activities, international programs, disposable library and availability for 16 hours per day is a very new concept of contemporary performing arts centre in the region!

EN-KNAP will thus continue to offer opportunities for professional development of dance makers in conjunction with numerous world-wide web based partners. Because of its strategic location between Western and Eastern Europe special emphasis will be given to creating a bridge between the two worlds and their contemporary dance traditions.
